Our objectives include the following:
Provide fee management services to owners of residential properties in need of drug abatement or rehabilitation.
Create and disseminate information and materials to educate managers and residents on ways to decrease crime and drug-related problems in our communities.
Maintain a library of materials relevant to drug abatement and residential communities.
Make on-site evaluations of residential communites.
Bring together local community organizations, agencies, leaders, owners and managers in forums to formulate "action" plans to fight drug-related activity in residential communities.
Provide opportunities for managers and residents from similarly afflicted communities to meet regularly in a support group forum and share strategies and resources.
Provide a speakers bureau for residential communities, neighborhood groups and schools.
Produce or participate in a national conference which will convene in either San Diego or Las Vegas and provide workshops, speakers, on-site demos and publications.
Produce or participate in discussions available for dissemination on TV, radio or cable dealing with drug and crime-related abatement methods.
In cooperation with law enforcement agencies, develop and provide training programs for resident managers in drug abatement techniques, including detection, steps towards intervention, interaction with residnts, owners and gang members.
Alert owners to their managers concerns about their properties and provide encouragement, support and remedies so that owners don't allow their properties to become drug and crime infested.
Document the rehabilitation of a formerly drug-infested residential community and provide tips on how other owners can accomplish the same positive results.
